Get a short introduction to the Japanese language and discover aspects of Japanese language culture in these communicative classes. Suitable for complete beginners.

Revise, consolidate and improve your listening and speaking skills on this lively course, which will help you communicate more confidently in daily life situations. Ideal if you are doing 'Spanish 2 lower', 'Spanish 2 upper' or have an equivalent level (A2 level).



This course runs every other Thursday (except for the first two classes) on the following dates: 17 Oct, 24 Oct, 7 Nov, 21 Nov, 5 Dec.

Become knowledgeable about your own voice as an instrument and gain insights into how you currently use and relate to it. Identify what you like about your voice in a safe place to play with possibilities. Get to know your voice through engaging in creative, experiential voice work.







Designed specifically for people who stammer/stutter, this course places no interest or importance on fluency. Instead, it will introduce concepts and practical opportunities to cultivate skills to experience speaking in flow.

The course will assess the performance of the Labour government in the six months since its landslide victory in July 2024. This course will assess the government performance in key policy areas and will also assess potential developments in the future. It will also assess the government’s responses to developing issues.

Discover the gentle, graceful movements of Yang-style T'ai Chi in classes. Learn and develop clear, powerful and effective practice designed to give you a good grounding in T'ai Chi and an insight into its wonderful possibilities. Please note that this course is not suitable for complete beginners in T'ai Chi.

Do you need to improve your English so you can work in an office or be self-employed? Would you like to be an administrator but want to develop your email writing, reading, spelling and punctuation? This course will improve all your communication skills so you can feel confident at work You will work on how to speak well when working with the public or other clients, how to respond calmly to difficult situations. You will practise how t to write emails and messages, how to organise them, use paragraphs and write good introductions and conclusions. You will develop your sentences using good grammar and vocabulary, plus correct spelling and punctuation. Throughout the course, you will work on your reading so you can understand the overall meaning of work-based texts, see the bigger picture, find details and specific information, and make decisions based on your reading. By the end of the course you will have the range of expression and accuracy in English to work with confidence.
