This fast-paced course reveals some of the processes used to make fine art prints. You will try both relief and intaglio printmaking methods. This course is for beginners and those with limited experience who want to discover how printmaking techniques actually work. An ideal way to start printmaking.

You will also become more confident in expressing your thoughts and feelings and dealing with difficult situations, for example, at work or in your personal life. You will practise talking about your own life events and key issues such as news stories, public figures, health and culture. Your digital skills and maths will improve so you can manage your money, research important topics and use social media.

We explore a brief and careful selection of recent novels in English, considering aspects of literature and the lives of writers, examining the contemporary perspective from which we reread and reinterpret classic texts to bridge the gap between past and present. Writers include Edward St Aubyn, Kathy O’Shaughnessy, Hari Kunzru, Malaysian novelist Tan Twan Eng, and British-Palestinian Isabella Hammad.
