This course for beginners is suitable if you already speak a Romance language such as Spanish, French, Portuguese or Romanian, or have studied one in the past and feel confident that you'd pick up the grammar and vocabulary of Italian fairly quickly. It might also be suitable if you would like to learn at a much faster pace. This course, together with Italian rapidamente: module 2 and Italian rapidamente: module 3 covers years one and two (Italian 1 and Italian 2 Lower) of our Italian programme. Expect more homework than in other courses.
