This course will help you be more secure in your professional, academic or creative writing skills and help you improve some of your weak areas around forming and punctuating sentences with appropriate grammatical form. You will develop your confidence in the most essential areas of writing including different sentence structures, writing paragraphs, using punctuation effectively, using active and passive voices and proofreading.

Come and join this lively interactive course to refresh your lower intermediate French. After attending this course you will be able join a level 2 course starting soon.

This course is designed for advanced students to have conversations in Chinese based on current news stories in a small group environment.

Whether you are preparing a Shakespearean monologue for audition or simply have an interest in their structure, rhythm and poetry, this course enables you to work on and speak monologues from the Comedies with confidence. There is also an opportunity to rehearse duologues/ scenework from Comedy of Errors and As You Like It specifically. This term the course is held at the college with an opportunity to practise speaking text in the open air.

Discover how to enhance your vocal and physical impact and presence in many situations and become aware of habits that may hold you back from achieving your full potential. Skills include establishing rapport, assertive posture and gesture, vocal energy, projecting an effective personal style, sensitive listening and communicating with care and conviction. This Saturday course will be delivered in the college.

A lively short workshop class for singers with some solo experience: employ your vocal technique in a more flexible and artistic way and deepen your understanding of critical evaluation of singing.

Further develop your knowledge of kanji, the kanji system and your writing skills. Suitable if you have completed 'Japanese writing for beginners', parts 1 and 2, or equivalent, and comfortable with Kana.
