What is the course about?
Korean 2: Module 2 is a lower intermediate Korean course for students who have already studied Korean for about a year and a half. The emphasis is on achieving a good level of communication and accuracy in speaking, listening, reading and writing and a deeper understanding of Korean culture.

- Shall + verb
- Plan to/intend to + verb
- Present progressive
- Because, so.
What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...
- Indicate obligation
- Ask someone's opinion about what they want to do
- Express your intention or plans.
- Express a continuing action or process.
- Express a causal relation between two events in which the second event is triggered by the first event.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
This course is intended for learners who have complete Korean 2: module 1, or who have an equivalent level (more than one year's study).
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
The lessons are based on the communicative approach. The emphasis is put on speaking and listening. There will be pair and group work as well as role-plays. Audio-visual materials will be included whenever appropriate. Please note, students are expected to participate in oral classroom activities and to do some homework.
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
The course tutor will let you know if there are any texts you need to purchase.
