How do I know my level?
Our beginner Italian courses start at level 1, which is equivalent to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) A1 Italian. This means you can start this course with no prior knowledge of Italian. After learning Italian for beginners, you will be able to:
- talk about yourself
- understand what others say about themselves
- ask others about them
- order food and drinks in a café
- recognise common italian sounds
