Create a digital file which is used to laser-cut /engrave intricate hand drawn designs, photographic imagery or text into plywood blocks. On Day 2 You will print these using traditional and experimental methods by hand and using a press, to create a small edition of prints. This course combines digital and traditional processes to offer a new take on a woodcut technique much favoured by Edvard Munch, in which an image on a woodblock is jig- sawed into separate pieces that are inked separately using different colours.
