What is the course about?
Let’s Talk Race forums encourage participants to engage with personal and sensitive material of lived experience connected to racial issues. The forum is a therapeutic and containing space to support group members in developing a level of therapeutic change.
What will we cover?
Topics covered will be introduced by group members in relation to race.
What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...
Demonstrate an awareness of self in relation to others.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
Whilst the level of the lectures are an introduction, students must have the ability to be reflexive with a willingness to learn.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
You will be required to keep a weekly journal.
