What is the course about?

This class will start with some small and gentle movements to ease tension and stress so you can move more easily and efficiently. These movements gradually become larger and more strength-based. Throughout the class, you will explore how to develop more inner and outer strength, more groundness and body awareness and attend to your breathing and posture more mindfully. At the end of the class, there will be time for a short rest for you to relax, restore and rejuvenate.

In addition to the weekly classes, your tutor will provide a wealth of material on Google Classroom - the handouts, videos, etc. so that you can practice in between the classes.

What will we cover?

We will cover some of the principles of the Pilates and Feldenkrais methods, awareness, tension, core stability, benefits of rests and some basic anatomy.
