Learning how to live and sing in a mindful way.
What will we cover?
Developing emotional intelligence, resilience, healing, inner freedom and mindful living. Applying these skills and awarenesses to singing practice and performance.

By the end of this course you should be able to...
Recognise the principles of mindfulness and applications in daily life and when you sing. Gain more control over your emotional life and its effect on your musical performance skills. Use mindfulness techniques to enhance your practising, singing with others, performing and general enjoyment of music. Learn techniques to cope with stage fright.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
Suitable for singers at any level - all welcome.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
There will be short guided meditations, exercises, group discussion, practical demonstration, and 'handouts'.You will have the opportunity in the sessions to try various techniques of practising, singing and performing.
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
Please wear comfortable clothing. Bring a device to record audio, pen and paper, and a song you have prepared with relevant sheet music or a chart for the accompanist.
When I've finished, what course can I do next?
This course is a supplement to any singing class or choir, and further mindful courses.
