This is a course for students with an ability and interest in expanding their art skills. In the art studio you will explore ways to combine and collage using a range of materials including fabric, photocopies, and found materials.
What will we cover?
Basic drawing and painting techniques Collage and mixed media techniques; cutting, tearing, combine collage, painting and drawing Mixed Media Group project on a selected theme.
What will I achieve? By the end of this course you should be able to...
Use a wide range of art materials Combine and collage fabric, photocopies, printed sources and found materials into compositions on paper Choose subject matter from everyday life and the internet Contribute to a mixed media group project Contribute your work to centre Instagram account Give and receive feedback on your work and other students.

The course is for students with learning disabilities who have an ability in art and interest in expanding their art skills.
