What is the course about?

This course aims to revise and build on the basics covered at level 1 (beginners), expanding the students'
vocabulary, their command of functional phrases and developing an understanding of more complex structures.

This is a live online course. You will need:
- Internet connection. The classes work best with Chrome.
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook), or a tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone if you don't have a computer.
- Earphones/headphones/speakers.
We will contact you with joining instructions before your course starts.

What will we cover?

Talking about your life
Going to the doctor
Identifying parts of the body, ailments and medicines
Going to the bank
Going to the post office
Filling in forms
Relative pronouns, interrogative pronouns, indirect object, reported speech, intonation.

Talk about pain and identify the parts of the body
Express what you require at the doctor, bank and post office
Understand and respond to requests at the doctor, bank and post office

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

Level 2 course - Students should have completed one year of beginners Greek and Modern Greek 2 lower:
modules 1 & 2, or have an equivalent knowledge of the language. For further details of the specific foreign

respond to simple instructions and read course documents in English and be at ease with the use of number for

Yannis Papalexandris was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greeece. He studied Greek language, literature and linguistics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
