The Brazilian Portuguese Film Matinee is a chance to find out more about Brazilian cinema in the college. The film will be presented by one of our wonderful Brazilian Portuguese tutors and there will be a discussion afterwards.
The film we will be watching is the critically-acclaimed Aquarius, a 2016 co-production of Brazil and France, directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho and starring Sônia Braga;

We look at Part I, from the beginning to the duet and chorus ‘His yoke is easy’, briefly putting the work in context and examining its forms and overall structure.
