This weekly dance and movement class improves mobility, posture, balance and coordination. Our aim is to inspire older men and women to get creative with dance and movement.

Our Silver Swans® classes have been specifically designed for the over-55s. If you are looking for a new way to keep fit and active, Swans ballet classes will put a spring in your step, whether you’ve never danced before or want to reboot your ballet skills. Classes focus on building the core technical principles and learning specially adapted repertoire from the popular ballets.

We will focus on developing ballet technique using barre, centre work and allegro exercises. Suitable for those who have completed at least one year of our beginner's ballet classes or equivalent and have a good grasp of the basic techniques and terminology.

The work you do at the ballet barre is the foundation for all the other work you do as a dancer. Improve your strength, balance and coordination. Not suitable for complete beginners.

A friendly, intensive class, with live guitar accompaniment, that focuses on the confident execution of Flamenco dance with pleasure, passion and panache. Performance opportunities throughout the year. These classes are suitable for those who have danced Flamenco for at least a year.

Ballet body conditioning combines specifically sequenced exercises including elements of barre, floor work and centre practice and is designed to complement studies in ballet and acting. Ideal for those who already have good physical awareness and have studied a dance discipline at a basic level.

This course is perfect for those who are new to Ballroom dance or looking to brush up on existing skills. Taught in a friendly and supportive atmosphere you will learn the basic steps and techniques of both Ballroom and Latin dance. No partner is required to join the course. You will perform with different members of the class, acquire some great dance knowledge and with the added benefit of feeling healthier! Please note: There is no class on Saturday 25 May 2024.

Our classes are designed to expand and develop your repertoire of steps as well as help you polish off your technique to become more confident on the dance floor when you are attending social dances or other special events. This course is perfect for those who have completed our Beginner’s programme or equivalent.



Students will build on their presentation skills by using their arms, hands and legs while dancing the three routines. Please note: There is no class on Saturday 25 May 2024.
