This course aims to give you a basic understanding of Contemporary dance that is influenced by other styles. The course provides an understanding of the basic principles, techniques and style.

Develop your physicality while further enhancing your understanding of contemporary dance, through technical exercises, dynamic travelling and fluid phrases. This class is appropriate for people who are ready to move on from the beginners course or who have previous dance experience.

Develop your technique and creative understanding as you discover how Flamenco choreography is crafted, with its distinct sections and corresponding steps and moves. You will collaborate in creating a new dance piece, understanding its close connection to the complex rhythmic patterns (the ‘compás’) as well as a more personal relationship to the choreography. The Charleston is a fun, easy and uplifting dance and this solo dancing course will have you moving with speed, vitality, and expression. With toe tapping Jazz music from the 1920s and beyond you will learn original Charleston dance steps and moves, improve your musicality and improvisation. A great way to get fit whilst learning a unique and impressive new skill.

This course is about learning Argentinean Tango where you will learn, practice, enjoy and meet friends! No partner needed – come alone, with a partner or with friends. Suitable for both beginners and those with prior experience.

If you have a strong foundation in tap, come and improve your technique, and increase your understanding of syncopation and your confidence in a variety of rhythms and tempos. Tap shoes are essential.

This course, separate but complementary to the other Summer Flamenco dance courses, will focus on the graceful execution of archetypal Flamenco arm & wrist movements combined with foot placement. Featuring a live guitarist this is an intensive course suitable for beginners as well as the more experienced student. Men and women of all ages are welcome.

Burlesque is an empowering and expressive performance art. Learn the basics of burlesque movement and dance, in this glamorous and fun class exploring the posture, deportment, style and elegance of showgirl movement.

This workshop is about having fun, recreating and learning all the famous TikTok dances - short choreographed routines set to popular songs or sounds. At the start of each class there will be a 15-20 min warm up to get you in the mood. Our professional dancer will then break down the steps and teach you how to execute and perfect them.

Join us for an energetic and intensive introduction to Salsa. Learn the essential Salsa steps in a fun, friendly and energetic environment. It's a partner dance, so you'll meet plenty of new people along the way. No need to bring a partner, part of the fun is meeting new people but most of all learning a new dance style whilst having a good time.

In perfect sync with the season and an all-time Christmas favourite ballet we offer this fun 3-day intensive exploring the repertoire of the ‘Nutcracker’. You will explore some of the Nutcracker characters and dance sequences and have an opportuity to perform all learned material on the final day. To beneift from this course you should have attended regular ballet classes for at least 6 to 12 months.

Our beginners intensive course will work on achieving improved balance, strength and flexibility as well as technical skills giving you the opportunity to further develop your technique and continue your ballet journey through friendly and supportive classes where you will learn dances (also known as variations) from a famous ballet.



Please note that some ballet experience is required even for beginners.
