A performance class for singers who have completed Sing jazz 1 and 2. Develop and maintain your vocal technique, jazz and blues style, presentation of repertoire, and learn relevant musicianship.

Learn some approaches to improvisation over jazz tunes, what to listen for and what to study. You should already be accustomed to singing in the jazz idiom. Develop confidence and 'know how' that will enable you to enjoy improvising. A vital supplement to the jazz singing courses.

Engage all your senses to connect mind and body awareness while singing. Explore how the psyche affects how we relate to singing. This is a practical course in the classroom with an accompanist for singers in all styles.

For jazz vocalists with a sound technique and experience of jazz and Latin styles. Develop your solo performance and expand your repertoire in this further edition of our advanced class. Some repertoire and vocalese will be taught, and you will be invited to perform repertoire of your choice.

Learn essential tools to sing jazz, including what to listen for in the piano accompaniment and the importance of pulse, groove and vocal technique. This day is for singers with musical experience who are new to the jazz idiom.

Rodgers and Hammerstein - Together they created a series of innovative and influential American musicals. Their musical theatre writing partnership has been called the greatest of the 20th century. We will be looking at some of the big ensemble numbers from shows such as Oklahoma, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I and The Sound of Music alongside a couple of lesser known shows. Alongside soloists required for the ensemble numbers you are invited to bring a piece of your choosing from the vast catalogue of songs by these exceptional composers.
