Singing Lessons & Classes - Courses in London and Online

For singers who have completed a level 1 course in jazz singing, or who have equivalent experience and ability in the jazz idiom. Develop your jazz conception, solo performance and expand your repertoire.

For vocalists with a sound technique and experience of jazz and latin styles. Develop your solo performance and expand your repertoire. Challenging repertoire and vocalese will be taught in live classes online, and you will be invited to research and contribute repertoire of your choice.

Continue aural and academic study of form, root movement and harmonic progression, jazz chord types, intervals, scales and modes. Learn transcribed solos and participate in playing and improvisation sessions. For players with a working knowledge of jazz harmony. New students may contact music@citylit.ac.uk to arrange to be assessed for entry to this 3rd term of the year. Break week 3rd June.

Learn to perform your favourite songs from popular Broadway shows, from standard classics to modern musicals. Gain confidence in performing, and enjoy singing solo and in an ensemble.

Develop your cabaret performance skills in this lively, engaging workshop. Learn to transition between speech and song and to create a meaningful cabaret sequence. Please note this class is limited to 10 students to enable enough one to one tuition.

If you are nervous of singing in public, scared to open your mouth or just want to know how your voice works, this course is for you. Classes are fun and cover a wide range of musical styles, so there is something for everyone. Break week 20th Feb 2023.
