An exciting and rigorous one-year part-time training in the core disciplines of acting. Taught by industry professionals, this course will build your craft as an actor and is ideal for anyone intending to enter full time training at drama school.



The course fee is £2225, plus an upfront fee of £275 payable at the time of your enrolment.



If you are unable to pay the course fee upfront, you can choose to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan from Student Finance England (SFE) to help cover the cost. Explore classical operatic repertoire in this dynamic workshop with an experienced tutor and a professional accompanist. Learn which styles suit your particular voice-type. You must have at least four years' classical vocal tuition and be able to learn new repertoire quickly. Break weeks: 1, 8 & 29 May 2023.

This is a practical and intensive screen acting course, designed for students to learn how to create characters and be at their best when working within difficult and pressurised circumstances. Ideal for those who have previously studied screen acting and are planning to make the leap into finding work. Also for those who have already broken into the industry but want to make sure they’re at their best when on set.

Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this choral class will give you something to look forward to on a Monday. We sing many genres from musical theatre to pop plus more traditional pieces. This course is very popular, so booking early is essential. Break weeks: 1st,8th and 29th of May 2023.

A practical workshop integrating keyboard harmony with piano performance skills. Taught in-person on a grand piano, this workshop is aimed at classical pianists at any level with a music theory standard of grade 5+ and good sheet music reading skills. We shall deepen our understanding of musical works by studying the harmonic constructs that underpin them, tackle the technical challenges they present, and explore how harmonic analysis can inform our interpretative choices. ** Break weeks (no lesson) on bank holiday mondays: 1st, 8th & 29 May.

Explore the rich repertoire of classical song and develop expressive and communicative skills. This workshop is for experienced classical singers (at least five years' tuition). Break weeks: 1, 8 & 29 May 2023.

A practical workshop combining keyboard harmony and pianistic technique for classical pianists with a starting standard of grade 6. This advanced 6-module course is taught at the keyboard and takes a historical approach to harmony and technique. We discuss separate eras and their corresponding harmonic developments in each self-contained module, along with main points of evolution in pianistic technique. Break week: Monday 23 Oct 2023.

If you play piano at around grade 4 standard, join one of our workshops to develop your playing by studying a wide range of piano repertoire, with a focus on technique, practice and performance skills.

This course takes us on a whistle-stop tour of nineteenth-century music. We explore the ideas that came to define Romanticism for composers and performers, study a range of musical works, and consider the changing context of performance from c.1790 to c.1914. Break week: 30 Oct 2023.

In Mozart’s hands the concerto was converted into a dramatic genre fit for the Classical age. Come along and explore this musical transformation! No previous musical knowledge necessary. This course has a scheduled break week on 24 Oct 2024.

Develop your understanding of musical language by learning to write four-part harmony, harmonise and write diatonic melodies, modulate, and analyse scores (harmony, melodic decoration, phrase structure, performance instructions, stylistic implications). break weeks: 23 Oct, 11, 18, 25 Dec 2023 and 1 Jan 2024.
