City Lit offers performing arts courses in the heart of Covent Garden in Central London during the evening, daytime and at weekends.     If you have pop piano training or equivalent keyboard harmony skill, come and tackle the easier end of the jazz piano repertoire in these online sessions. The focus is on jazz harmony and chord voicing, interpretation of a lead sheet and good timing. You'll need to play piano at grade 5 standard or higher.

  11. Radio presenting: improvers (online)

    Extend and develop your skills for a range of radio broadcasts, presenting and putting a live news, current affairs, features and music programme to air, creating the content yourselves. The course is the second of three that allows students to progress from complete beginner to an advanced level with the aim of being able to present and pitch programme ideas professionally. You'll need to have taken the beginners’ course or have previous industry experience. This course will be online and supported by a media technician.

  12. Music theory: grade 4

    Explore the birth of Modernism through the prism of piano music from 1880-1930. Learn about different approaches taken by key composers and how they influenced, and were influenced by, other art forms: e.g. The Impressionists, The Vienna Secession, and The Futurist Movement.
