City Lit offers performing arts courses in the heart of Covent Garden in Central London during the evening, daytime and at weekends.   2. Miriam Makeba in King Kong: the South African jazz musical

    Miriam Makeba, known as Mama Africa, is arguably the most famous African singer of the 20th century. Her international career took off when she was recruited to sing and act the female lead in the musical King Kong. Under the shadow of apartheid this inter-racial collaboration was a groundbreaking enterprise that had reverberations for decades to follow, in South Africa and globally, including in London, where it was performed in 1961.
