The Level 3 Certificate in IT User Skills (ECDL Advanced) will give you exceptional proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software, and will improve your productivity in using IT. You will gain all the skills you need to work at the highest level in an office environment. This course may be free if it is your first L3 qualification or you earn less than the living wage. The Advanced Learner Loan is also available.

The course fee is £1200. If you are unable to pay this upfront, you can choose to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan from Student Finance England (SFE) to help cover the course fee, repayable after the course ends. A deposit of £200 is also payable to secure your place (refundable after you complete the course). Power BI is a Microsoft Product that is free to download and use, it allows to connect, transform, and visualize data.



This can be done in Microsoft Power BI Desktop application or in Excel using Power Query and Power Pivot.



The formulae language used in Power BI is called DAX: Data Analysis Expressions. Learning the basics of this



language is crucial to be able to create dynamic reports.
