A good course, it fulfilled its promise and enabled me to go from a complete novice to being able to use Photoshop at a basic level. The tutor was good but seemed to get a bit frustrated when one or two struggling students interrupted his demonstration with poorly timed or off-topic questions. The three hours per session format was appropriate but the pacing of the lesson was a bit uneven - sometimes leisurely, sometimes rushed. Although he made an effort to periodically check each student's progress, there was little time for the tutor to spend with students on a one to one basis, and very little feedback or next steps advice was provided at the end of the course. The class occasionally started a few minutes late and/or ran over time by about 15 minutes, usually due to guidance notes not having been prepared/organised in advance, or technical issues setting up the room.

The course could be improved by handing out notes at the beginning of each session so that we can take them home & revise them.
