What is the course about?
This course follows on from our popular Pocasting:introduction and will teach you production values and techniques, editing tips and tricks as well as publicattion solutions and branding techniques.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...
Produce a podcast using various methods, become comfortable with the editing process and utilise advanced editing techniques.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
You must have attended Podcasting: introduction/essentials and have a podcast or plan for a podcast to work on.
You should be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions to support demonstrations, hand-outs and for
health and safety information, and will be invited to take part in group discussion. You should be able to use numbers
and be able to do simple measurements and calculations.
Please look at the rest of the course outline carefully to decide if you may benefit from support in your English and
Maths skills to help you to take part fully in this class.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
Teaching will be a mix of practical solo and group activity and discussion-based learning.
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
You should have access to your existing social media account(s) and remember to bring with you the log in details. If you don’t have existing account(s) you will need to bring a valid email address and its password to sign up for a new account. This will help you to practice the course content during the class and gain valuable hands-on experience.
When I've finished, what course can I do next?
Any course from our social media section including blogging with WordPress or Video blogging with you Tube.
