What is the course about?
You will learn how to use Reiki healing to 2nd Degree Standard. This includes learning and applying the three Reiki symbols, distance healing and further applications of Reiki.
What will we cover?
- Reiki 2 attunements
- Power symbol and Mental / Emotional symbol and how to use them
- Distance healing symbol, distance healing and beaming
- Scanning the aura
- Subtle energy bodies and the chakras.
What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...
- Define and apply the three Reiki symbols
- Describe the subtle energy bodies and the chakras and explain their relevance to Reiki healing
- Demonstrate understanding of how to send Reiki through distance healing and beaming
- Demonstrate scanning the aura
- Channel Reiki to 2nd Degree level.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
This course is for those who have completed Reiki 1st Degree level (City Lit Certificate in Reiki Healing Stage 1) and wish to enhance their connection with Reiki and expand their application of Reiki Healing.
Students will be expected to be familiar with the hand positions for self-healing and couch healing on others and have a basic knowledge of the chakra system.
As this is a fast track course, please practice prior to the start of the course.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
Talks and demonstrations by the tutor, pair work, group work, practical tasks, questions and answers, discussions. You will also take part in group attunements - a simple sacred ceremony.

The manual is included in the cost of the course.
Oge is a body therapist and Healer. She has been a practising therapist for 16 years, treating clients with various massage therapies including holistic massage, sports and onsite massage, lymphatic drainage, Indian head massage, reflexology, and aromatherapy, in a variety of settings. She is also a Reiki Master, with particular interest in pet healing. Oge is currently tutor coordinator for the Health and Wellbeing department, as well as actively teaching and developing new courses . Her career in health began 20 years ago working within social care, specifically with children and adults with special needs After healing herself from a mystery illness, she understands how the body, mind and spirit truly work in harmony, and is passionate about bringing bodywork back to its healing roots, and improving wellbeing for everyone.
