What is the course about?
The vast majority of professional opportunities for actors these days are on television and the internet. The theatrical tradition in which most actors are trained provides irreplaceable and essential skills for the process of acting, but offers little help with the medium in which actors are most likely to earn a living. This course will take place in our fully equipped TV studio, where participants will enhance their imaginative and expressive abilities and work to develop ‘on-cue’ truthful emotional responses. Work in the TV studio will provide the further skills and adjustments necessary to create a vivid and effective performance on screen.
