Monica Toro

My name is Monica Toro, and I’ve been teaching Spanish for almost nine years. I’ve lived and taught in several countries, which has helped me adapt easily to different learning styles and understand a wide range of perspectives. I hold a First-Class Honours degree and am currently studying for a Master’s in Translation. I believe learning a language should be enjoyable, practical, and focused on real communication. In my classes, we work on all skills, listening, reading, writing, but I place special emphasis on speaking, helping students feel confident using Spanish in everyday situations. I’m patient and approachable, and I work hard to make my lessons friendly and motivating. I have a genuine passion for Spanish and love seeing my students grow in confidence, find their voice in the language, and enjoy the process of learning.

Please note: We reserve the right to change our tutors from those advertised. This happens rarely, but if it does, we are unable to refund fees due to this. Our tutors may have different teaching styles; however we guarantee a consistent quality of teaching in all our courses.
