What is the course about?

This course aims to give students an opportunity to consolidate the basic structures of Spanish and then to extend their knowledge to include more complex grammatical structures and functions. It will also give an insight into cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking countries.

What will we cover?

Topics: work; biographies and CVs; cities of the future, environment, current affairs, customs and habits at work.
Grammar: quantifiers, impersonals, structures to express obligation, prohibition, simple past, imperfect, phrasal verbs (empezar a, acabar de, volver a, etc.), simple future.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

- Express obligation or prohibition
- Talk about customs and habits at work
- Give opinions about the future of cities, environment, education
- Talk about facts and events in your life with increased fluency.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

Our courses are characterised by spoken interaction and communication. Typical activities include pair work, group work, role plays and games.
