En estos talleres dedicados a las cuatro estaciones vamos a activar nuestros sentidos: vista, oido, olfato y gusto. Ven a practicar tu español mientras intercambiamos las sugestiones, impresiones y sentimientos que nos evoca una pintura.

Ideal for students who have done 3 or 4 years of Spanish, and are looking to practise more talking and listening skills, as well as develop their knowledge of art.

What is the course about?

This series of workshops aims to enable students to reinforce and consolidate their ability to communicate in Spanish through the topic of Art, by analysing and discussing a famous painting in a 2-hour workshop.

What will we cover?

This workshop will focus on Autumn. We will analyse and discuss a famous painting dedicated to the season of the falling leaves.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

- analyse and discuss simply a famous painting and piece of music with the appropriate vocabulary
- express the sensations and emotions that a painting bring to your mind
- have a better knowledge of art in general and how to discuss it
- improve your speaking and listening skills in Spanish

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

Ideal if you have an intermediate level of Spanish, are doing Spanish 3 lower, Spanish 3 upper or have an equivalent level (B1 level).

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

Our courses are characterised by spoken interaction and communication. Typical activities include pair work, group work, role plays and games. A range of resources will be used to support your learning including presentations, hand-outs, and audio-visual material.Homework is highly recommended to consolidate learning.
