You need to be able to really listen. You need to be ready to 'have a go'. You will need to practise between sessions as well as doing your homework. And you need to attend regularly if you want to keep up. But it will be worth it!

loving this class!! small group so you don't feel too intimidated speaking and making mistakes!! Fab teacher who always speaks to us in Spanish which is great! Class is a good mix of board exercises, pairs work and group work with plenty of opportunity to practice aloud. Class is at a good time and is a good length (an hour and a half at 6pm) as that's about all my concentration skills can cope with after a day at work beforehand!!! it's easy to learn quickly and it's up to you how much of the homework you do so there's no pressure to hand anything in! Great class.

This is a very good introduction to Spanish for those with little or no previous knowledge. The teacher is very patient and encouraging. The approach is inclusive and not intimidating at all. I would recommend anyone who just wants to have a go to enroll without being worried about not knowing anything. I knew nothing and I discovered I’d really like to know more.

Tutor Biographies
Ximo Folch

Ximo is passionate about languages, teaching, cinema, literature, creative writing, cooking and hiking but he is most passionate about meeting and getting to know different people. For this reason, he studied English Philology (study of the English language) in Castellón, Spain and for the same reason, he left the sunny beaches of Spain and moved to London where he has lived and taught Spanish to adults in colleges and school settings for the past eight years. For Ximo, teaching and learning a language is about building bridges, about thinking differently, seeing others under a different light, listening and expressing ourselves. He enjoys the humbling process of learning and living in a different language and passing on his love of Spanish to others in a fun way.
