The Spanish Film evening is intended as an enjoyable and relaxing way to round up the term, and is an opportunity to see a classic of Spanish and Latin-American film in a cinema-like setting as it will take place in our Cultureplex.
What will we cover?
After an introduction of the film and the context, we will watch the film, and then hold a discussion around students' impressions and the key messages presented in the film.

This is a chance to see a film in Spanish and learn a bit more about the director's style, themes and motivations.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
The film will be shown in Spanish with the English subtitles turned on for accessibility. There is no obligation to speak or ask questions in the short discussion which will take place afterwards, and everyone is welcome to attend to simply enjoy the film. Some comments in English will be ok.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
This is a film viewing with a brief discussion, so no extra work or study is required.
