Centre for Learning Disability Education - Courses in London

Our Centre for Learning Disability Education offers a creative arts-focussed portfolio of courses for adults with learning disabilities.

Choosing your course

Our courses take place at our main site on Keeley Street, conveniently located in the heart of Covent Garden, and are designed to enable you to explore and nurture your talents. Centred around the creative arts and self-advocacy, we provide a range of subjects including visual arts, dance, drama, music, leadership and public speaking. All of our courses will enable you to develop your communication skills, choice making and independence.

Expert tutors

Students travel from all over London to experience our unique, creative approach to education. Our classes are taught by our friendly, specialist tutors who will work to get to know you and understand your strengths. This bond will contribute greatly to your experience at City Lit as it means that we understand your goals and can work closely with you in order to achieve them.

Working in partnership

Many City Lit students have benefited from our various partnerships. This includes our Percussion Orchestra, a music project in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Music. Our work with Books Beyond Word has also allowed our students to explore wellbeing, relationships and employment through visual stories.
