Speech therapy for adults with aphasia
These courses are for people who have aphasia, a communication difficulty following a stroke or other brain injury. The sessions are led by a specialist speech and language therapist with assistance from volunteers.
We offer three separate classes depending on the nature of your communication difficulties and on your strengths. These small groups provide a supportive environment in which to develop and practise communication, and the opportunity to meet people who also have aphasia.
Please note these courses run throughout the year - please contact us to arrange a free advisory session with one of the team who will meet you to find out which is the best course for you.
