London has many famous buildings, but what about the not so famous - the houses & flats where we actually live? We see them, use them, live in them everyday, yet tend not to count them as architecturally significant, In this series of online lectures and walks, we explore the capital from a different perspective, our perspective really, examining the humble home. Domestic architecture, from the brick terrace, to the brutalist estates, the Elizabethan to the balconies block are where the real London lies, in its spectacular vernacular architecture
