Join this lively short course to refresh your near-beginners. Ideal if you have studied Swedish beginners module 2 recently (at least 6 month). It will help you if you want to join Swedish beginners: module 3 in September.
Not suitable for complete beginners
Note that each session is 4 hours with 30 mins break.

What is the course about?

Designed to help you revise after a summer break, it will cover all the main vocabulary and structure to confortably join Beginners: module 3.

This is a live online course. You will need:
- Internet connection. The classes work best with Chrome.
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook), or a tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone if you don't have a computer.
- Earphones/headphones/speakers.
We will contact you with joining instructions before your course starts.

What will we cover?

Revision of:
inroduction (Q/A), routine (present tense), food & shopping (articles-adjectifs-adverbs), leisure and planning events (basic future tense).

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

- introduce yourself confidently
- use the present tense to describe routine and leisure activities
- buy items confidently
- make plan.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

Near beginners either because you have completed Swedish beginners module 2 at City Lit recently or have studied elsewhere for at least 6 month. You need to have basic knowledge of all the points in section 2.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

Our courses are characterised by spoken interaction and communication. Typical activities include pair work, group work, role plays and games. A range of resources will be used to support your learning including presentations, hand-outs, and audio-visual material.
Homework is highly recommended to consolidate learning.
