For BSL teachers who wish to develop and improve their teaching skills.

How to teach receptive and productive methods.

Teach confidently
Fully engage with BSL students
Understand and utilise a variety of useful teaching tools.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

The course is suitable for BSL teachers who are or will be teaching any level of BSL class. The course will be taught in BSL and there will not be a BSL / English interpreter available.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

You will be taught remotely by a teacher who will be in the classroom at City Lit. Classes will be taught using Zoom. Teaching delivery methods will include:
• Group discussion
• Demonstration
• Pair/group work – using breakout rooms
• Role play.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
