Research shows that 90 percent of top performers are high in emotional intelligence. You can be one of these. This course, part of a three-part series on core management skills, will help you develop this intelligence and practise your coaching skills for the workplace. You will focus on developing your self-awareness, including understanding your strengths, limitations, beliefs and motivation, You will practise self-regulation such as pausing and taking a step back, your active listening and empathy, your social skills such as reducing tension, and your self-motivation. You will also work on building rapport and relationships, asking effective questions and giving constructive feedback so you team members progress and develop.
