Digital Skills & Other Computer Skills

Digital skills are now a universal skill that is as essential to participating, progressing and expressing yourself within society as English and Maths.

Our Digital and Office Skills courses will develop all of your general digital and computing skills from beginner to advanced and do so in a way that situates your learning and prepares you for the world outside the classroom, for working and non-working life. You will not only develop your digital abilities but also the most in-demand skills for life: problem-solving, analysing, decision-making, working together, attending to details and seeing the bigger picture.

Whether you are recently redundant, returning to work, looking to upskill, or wanting to do everyday tasks and communicate better with family and friends, we have the courses to help you succeed.

All our courses are run by experienced and creative tutors who will ensure you learn at the right level and pace with all the support you need. We are here to help you become an active digital citizen.

We offer a range of courses allowing you to choose between online and in-person learning. All our courses are live, interactive, and taught by expert tutors.     Do you want to learn the digital skills needed for office and administration work? On this course, you will focus on completing the keys tasks required to be a business administrator. You will learn how to produce high quality and well-presented documents such as minutes, formal letters and flyers using Word. You will develop your skills in producing presentations with PowerPoint that are visually appealing, modern and effective. You will also work in depth on how to use Excel and Access for data handling, processing and analysing, including how to enter and edit data, arrange and present it effectively, make calculations and highlights data trends.

    Do you know the basics of emailing and internet use? Are you ready to work with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook? Then this course is for you. You will start learning how to word process, use spreadsheets and create presentations, vital skills in today’s world inside and outside the workplace. You will also learn the most essential aspects of Outlook so you can send and receive emails and organise them,. By the end of the course you will be able to create well-presented short texts such as letters, design simple budgets and tables,produce effective and attractive presentations and email them to friends and work colleagues.
