Are you new to Zoom? Have you started to use it but are unsure about some of its functions? Do you need to use Zoom at work, in your studies or to communicate with friends and relatives? Zoom is now as essential to communication as texts, emails, smartphones and PCs. This course will take you from the basics of being on Zoom as a participant and a host, including how to join meetings and set them up. You will learn what to do in both circumstances, what appropriate etiquette is, how to use chat and other features such as breakout rooms, how to share your screen, take control of someone else's screen and how to make sure you don't do something on Zoom that you shouldn't.



By the end of this course, you will be able to comfortably host a meeting with friends or work colleagues, communicate, privately share and collaborate on projects or ideas.

Do you have some digital skills but lack confidence to use them? Would you like to gain the most essential digital skills needed for today's workplace? If so, and you need to develop the foundational digital skills for today's job market, this is the course for you. The course will give you the confidence to use different digital devices and tools to collaborate and communicate efficiently with work colleagues, to create and edit documents and presentations, and make simple spreadsheets. You will learn about different types of digital communication as well as how to use online resources for finding and using information and completing transactions. You will learn the transferable digital skills you need to progress, participate and express yourself in the workplace and gain a qualification. 53% of UK employees do not have the digital skills needed for work. You don't need to be one of them.

Learn how to use Excel 365's Dynamic Array Functions - powerful techniques that work on an array (series) of data in an Excel Workbook.



Students should have a PC or laptop with Excel 365 App installed, please note that an early version of Excel will not be compatible for the course to complete the tasks, you can have a pen and paper to take notes. Please note, certain commands do not work in Office 365 online and thus the installed Microsoft Office is required. Should you wish to install the desktop version of Office 365 on your computer, you can request a temporary licence from us by emailing at computing@citylit.ac.uk at least 3 days before the start of the course.
