Currently they are free if you are on Jobseekers' Allowance (JSA) or Employment & Support Allowance (ESA), or you live in London and your job is at risk of redundancy, or receiving other state benefits (including Universal Credit) and your monthly take-home pay is below £343. Please note that only courses with a start date in 2021 are eligible.

    Are you new to Excel? Have you used Excel a little but lack confidence you are doing the right thing? Are you unsure about what you use Excel for? On this course, you will learn the key basic functions of Excel so you can begin your journey in how to handle, analyse and present data. You will learn the main functions of Excel and associated terminology. You will focus on how to create simple worksheets, enter data, present it in a logical and functioning way with formatting that makes it easy to read. You will work on using Excel in place of your calculator to make basic calculations and you will practise turning this data into simple charts and graphs.     Are you new to computing? Do you have some digital skills but lack confidence to use them? Would you like to gain the most essential digital skills needed for today's workplace? If you need to develop the foundational digital skills for today's job market, this is the course for you. The course will give you the confidence to use digital devices and tools to collaborate and communicate efficiently with work colleagues, to create documents and presentations, and make simple spreadsheets. You will learn the transferable digital skills you need to progress, participate and express yourself in the workplace.   7. Digital Skills for the workplace: using Excel (intermediate)

    Do you want to learn some of Excel more sophisticated functions? Are you an administrator or manager who needs to use it for more complex tasks?
