Location on this date: KS - Keeley StreetAre you using Microsoft Word in an office or in administrative job? Or are you preparing for this line of work? This course will develop all the skills you need to perform your workplace Word work to a high level. Become confident in creating long, consistently formatted, well-presented documents such as reports and performing the tasks most commonly associated with Word in the office. Such tasks will include developing your use of Styles, modifying pictures in documents, using templates, controlling text flow and using mail merge. This a course for those who already have some experience of using Word. For beginners, please see our Becoming confident in Word 365 course.

Location on this date: KS - Keeley Street (other locations are available)Do you want to know that you can work to an outstanding level in any work environment requiring an expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access? Do you want a qualification to prove these skills? The Level 3 Certificate in IT User Skills (ECDL Advanced) will give you exceptional proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software, and will improve your productivity in using IT. You will gain all the skills you need to work at the highest level in an office environment. This course may be free if it is your first L3 qualification. The Advanced Learner Loan is also available.

If you are eligible for government funding and you are 19 or over and do not already have a full level 3 qualification (equivalent to an advanced technical certificate or diploma, or 2 full A levels) you may be able to study this course for free. For more information click here
The course fee is £1200. If you are unable to pay this upfront, you can choose to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan from Student Finance England (SFE) to help cover the course fee, repayable after the course ends. A deposit of £200 is also payable to secure your place (refundable after you complete the course).
