    We will examine the lives and scientific contributions of key people in the history of botany and gardens, from the 16th to the 20th centuries: John Gerard, Henry Compton, John Fothergill, Humphry Repton, and Thomas Mawson. Five London-based visits included.



    Letta Jones, MA, is a Lecturer in Horticulture and Garden History. She taught at Capel Manor and Birkbeck Colleges for 15 years as well as at the City Lit. She is a is a Green Flag Parks judge.
