What is the course about?
The course is for anyone who has an interest in learning about Gestalt therapy, Transactional Analysis and Person Centred Counselling as three major therapies in the Humanistic Tradition which developed after Freud and the Psychoanalysis tradition. It may prove a useful foundation for deciding which therapy to train further in. It will also be of interest to those who have done some introductory training in Person Centred Counselling or other introductory counselling courses.
This is a live online course. You will need:
- Internet connection. The classes work best with Chrome.
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook), or a tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone if you don't have a computer.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
There is suggested reading for students but this is not essential.
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
No other costs unless students want to purchase counselling books for themselves.
When I've finished, what course can I do next?
Students may go on to apply for the Certificate in Counselling.
