This course builds on Understanding Trauma Part 1, and looks at the longer-term impact of trauma beyond immediate stress responses. This course can give confidence in identifying when individuals may need further support or intervention.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
This course is suitable for individuals who have undertaken Understanding Trauma Part 1 or have prior knowledge of trauma.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
The course will be delivered through a mix of presentations, group discussions, case studies, to enhance learning and engagement. There is no required work outside the class, but additional resources will be provided for further learning.
