Throughout the day, at our HQ in Covent Garden, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the full range and variety of art and design subjects on offer.

What will we cover?

Open Day schedule of activities - All day

You’ll be able to attend the following events as part of our Art and Design open day from 11am.

Portfolio surgery

Bring your portfolio along and get 1:1 professional advice tailored to you. Alternatively, you can bring images of your work either on your tablet or laptop (around a dozen pieces will be sufficient).

If you want to further develop your portfolio before applying for a course, our course leaders and key staff will be on hand throughout the day to review your portfolio and help you to select the right course for you.

Interviews and bookings - All day

Once you’ve chosen a course you’d like to join, you can also take advantage of the opportunity to be interviewed on the day. You’ll get instant feedback from us and an offer to join the course if your portfolio meets the required standard for entry.

Advice and guidance on all our courses within Visual Arts - All day

There will be general advice and guidance on all Visual Arts courses. We can help you plan your study year to achieve your goals.

Studio tours - from 11:00am

The School of Visual Arts boasts state of the art, purpose built studios and workshops. Take part in one of our studio tours where you'll get the chance to see our amazing spaces and high quality equipment.

We really want you to experience them so we will be running tours of our facilities throughout the day. You’ll also get to meet some of our current students and see the work they are doing.

Studio tours timings

Studio tours will be every hour starting from 11:00am. The last tour will start at 15:00pm.
Please meet at Reception on the ground floor of the Keeley Street building at your chosen time.

Presentations on our long and advanced courses - from 11:30am

Learn more about our advanced courses in Art and Design from our Heads of Programme.

We’ll be showcasing student work, their progression, destinations, and testimonies and you’ll be able to ask questions and hopefully find the right course for you.
