New World Music/ Dance Appreciation

Our world music and dance courses are an opportunity to learn about a wide range of styles and genres, from folk music of Europe, to folk and classical traditions across the non-Western world. World music: an introduction explores traditions from India, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas in the cultural contexts of their country of origin as well as their diaspora and cross-cultural fusions. The other courses we offer are practical, allowing you to experience singing, playing and dancing the many styles yourself.
