A fun, intensive workshop for players of orchestral instruments of Grade 6 level upwards, with good music reading skills. Please click the 'Start interview' button, follow the login instructions, and the Music Department will contact you.

Choose either an in-person course in the heart of London or live online sessions.This course aims to enable students to begin to communicate with some fluency in a range of everyday situations.The emphasis is on the practical use of German and the development of your speaking and listening skills. Based on chapters 1-4 of Willkommen (Hodder Arnold).

Revise and consolidate your speaking and listening skills, as well as your grammar. Suitable if you have completed 'Spanish 1: module 3' or have an equivalent knowledge of the language (one year's study).

Do you want to improve your English while exploring London? This short course helps you develop your English skills through discovering London’s rich history, diverse cultures, and fascinating people. You’ll visit key places around the city, learn about their past and present, and explore how different communities have shaped London. You’ll also carry out your own research, helping you improve your reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. By the end of the course, you’ll feel more confident using English and more connected to the culture and life in London.

This course runs during terms 1, 2 and 3.

Continue your development as you explore a range of exercises and acting techniques that will illuminate and enliven script and scene work.. Consolidate techniques and deepen your understanding in a safe and supportive atmosphere.

With its rich culture and history and its incredible landscapes and architecture, there are countless reasons to learn Italian. Whether you wish to learn Italian in order to make your visits to Italy more enjoyable, or because you'd like to speak with family and friends in their native language, this course will provide the groundwork for you to begin your journey towards fluency. Our emphasis is on speaking and listening skills so that you can start communicating quickly in Italian. Once you've completed this course you can continue with 'Italian beginners: module 2'.

With one term of Italian beginners under your belt (Italian beginners: module 1), this course will see you improve your understanding of Italian grammar and expand your vocabulary. You'll also see your key skills improve (speaking, listening, reading and writing).

Learn to speak Spanish on this lively, communicative course for complete beginners. The course is taught in Spanish with an emphasis on developing your speaking and listening skills.
