If you have ever wanted to discover the power of Gestalt 2 chairs, but are anxious to try it...then this is the course for you. Dennis (the tutor) is a master at addressing the theory and mixing live demonstrations with one-to-one practice in a relaxed and engaging way. A fantastic day of learning.

A fantastic, self-contained course. You don't have to be a Gestalt counsellor or a counsellor for that matter to attend and benefit fully. I work as a coach and and leadership development professional and have only some knowledge of Gestalt but the basics are covered in the course and the full overview of the technique, including 2 demonstrations and discussion was fully covered before we jumped into experiential learning...which was a little scary at first but then loved and laughed through to our hearts content. Really really lovely, profoundly useful technique that can be used in so many different situations, it's a waste not to learn it. The tutor was very experienced, fun and serious in equal measure. I really recommend the course. Fantastic supportive group too, students should be prepared to do some personal work but most people (if not all) come with heaps of empathy and willingness to hold a beautiful space so fear nothing! I will use the technique straight away and many times, I am absolutely certain of it. Totally worth the day and the money.

learning this technique has been a learning curve as I not only learned about Gestalt therapy, but coming from a person-centred background, it was a clear indication that clients are the expert in exploring their own inner conflicts and making sense of i. I have gained a skill which will contribute to my way of working within my own practice as a bereavement counsellor. The tutor wanted the group, not only to participate in the experiential learning of working with two chairs, but to also have fun doing so. The day was therefore also filled with fun and laughter.

The tutor showed flexibility in responding to the aims and the needs of the group. It was useful to be able to try out the technique, both as practitioner and subject, in a supportive setting.
