What is the course about?
Cyclists draw on the strength of particular muscles which over time become bunched up and tight, creating stress and tension and sometimes complications. This course introduces yoga postures and practices that target the release and lengthening of these muscles resulting in overall physical relief, enhanced posture and a lighter, more fluid flow of the cycling movement. Yoga also protects the body by making it stronger. Breathing and relaxation practices reduce stress both on and off the bike.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
All levels welcome, including beginners.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
Demonstrations, instruction and explanations
You will be encouraged to develop your own practice outside of class.
This course will be delivered online, and will involve tutor presentation and class discussion. Student preparation and homework outside class times is strongly encouraged. To fully participate in this online class you will need:
- An email address
- A reliable internet connection
- A computer/laptop/tablet with a fully updated browser (preferably google chrome). Your device will need a microphone, and preferably a camera.
