I have attended yoga classes before and this is the first class where I have actually been able to follow what the teacher is saying, so much so in fact, that I am able to attend class without my cochlear implants, and simply follow the tutor's signing and by lipreading. This makes for a more comfortable experience as I prefer to have them off to focus, rather than on with distracting noise to contend with in addition to concentrating on following the instructions.

The tutor is ideal as she has patience, is interested in our progress, the class is interesting, and she is a good communicator.

The fact that the class size is so small is just perfect for people with a hearing loss as we can get individual attention, and it's easier to manage communication in a small class.

I will most definitely be coming back for more. This is a great improvement - in other classes I couldn't follow what was said at all and the instructor even switched off the lights so the entire class was held in darkness and I was in panic mode. I am really appreciative of the accessibility of this class.
