Have you achieved maths GCSE at grade 4 or above and are now wanting to take your maths up to the next level without doing a full A-Level? Are you particularly interested in practical statistical analysis? Then Core Maths (level 3) is for you. This qualification develops your quantitative and problem-solving skills and will be valuable preparation for many types of work and qualifications that rely on understanding statistics. You will work on analysing data, maths for personal finance, estimation, critical analysis of data and models, probabilities, the normal distribution, correlation and regression.
This short introductory course will ensure you have the skills and commitment to be ready for accreditation. You MUST complete this course before graduating to the full accreditation course.
